Yeah, well, it's been quite the year: new baby, losing a job, etc etc. Blog-wise, we have our first contest going (woohoo), we started a fan page on facebook with weekly discussions, and we have a few more exciting things happening later this month. John Continue

Hello all. Been a bit busy - we have a brand new baby daughter, yknow! Do we have things planned for the new year? Sure do! Will we be able to do all the things we have planned? Dunno. Back to the work week after Labor Day, but Lisa and I had a nice weekend down in Atlantic City. We were celebrating our anniversary and Lisa's b-day. Got to spend an afternoon lounging at The Pool at Harrah's (verrrry nice!). Of course, we also had a couple of very enjoyable meals. We had a wonderful dinner at Sea Salt down in Stone Harbor, and followed that up with lunch the next day at The White House. It's always good to get to White House for an awesome sub. After a fun Saturday in Vineland, we have plenty o' things to write about for the next week of so. Lisa's back into the swing of things and will be posting a bunch, I'm sure. I do have to mention Sweet Life Bakery, which is just off Landis Ave in Vineland. Wonderful stuff. John here. We're off to see my folks in Willingboro tomorrow and will be participating in a Japanese tea ceremony being done by my sister. Then it's off to Vineland on Sunday for, hopefully, some interesting food-related stuff. Lisa had a good experience at Gyro Hut on Rt 37 in Toms River, which she will be sharing about very soon. John here. We have the Ice Cream Festival tomorrow (sorry you can't make it, Deb) and maybe an Asian festival in Cherry Hill later in the day (time and babysitting permitting). On Sunday, we have a couple of foodie friends from up in North Jersey coming for a visit to the house, so that should be fun. I've invited them to become Biters, so we'll see. Continue

John here. Well, to be honest, Lisa and I are very busy blogging our main site, but we will try to post little things here and there as we go along. Just recently went to Shut Up And Eat in Toms River. It's fun and the food is good. We'll have to go back and try them for breakfast. We're now officially addicted to the hotdogs from The German Butcher in Forked River. Now that's good eatin'. Continue
