Hi, I'm Marie and I live on the shore, near Asbury Park. This is a great site! I've already invited some friends and family to join.

Right now I am trying to less because my son is getting married in a few weeks. But I will vicariously enjoy everyone's postings. :)

My all time favorite New Jersey restaurant is Moonstruck, but I am having my son's rehearsal dinner at Gaetano's in Red Bank, which is a close second.

I am Jen and I love food, cooking, reading about food and eating. I collect cookbooks and have too many to mention. I have entered my recipes into several food competitions and have been fortunate enough to win. That sparked my determination to do food writing. I was fortunate to do food writing, recipe developing and food styling up until May. Now, I am taking a break. I truly enjoy food, cooking and developing recipes. I am hoping after my "break" that I will be newly inspired, have my skills more honed and be ready for my next food writing project!

I'm a personal chef and mom to three kids who loves to cook. After a day of shopping and cooking for my clients, I head home to cook again for my family. I like to try new recipes much to the dismay of my family. They rarely see a repeat recipe - expect for that file full of family favorites.

My name is Michele and I live in Morris Plains, NJ. I have been living here for two years now but originally I am from Brooklyn, NY. I'm an Executive Assistant for the owners of a real estate development company but my real passion is cooking. Growing up in an Italian family, food has been a major part of my life. 2 years ago I lost my Grandmother who I was very close to. She lived with us my whole life. I believe I got my passion for cooking from her and I wish she was around to watch my skills grow and develop. As a tribute to her and the many culinary influences in my life, I started a blog that I call My Italian Grandmother. It's a work in progress...who knew blogging would be so time consuming! That part aside I'm really enjoying it and I find it very rewarding when people leave a comment or tell me that they have tried a recipe or that my grandmother would be proud.
